November is Fun

It’s November! Nearly the end of 2021, if you can believe it. I can’t. The year has gone so fast… but then they all seem to go fast.

November is the official release month of Uncovering Colton’s Family Secret, which I wrote for Harlequin Romantic Suspense.  It’s the tenth in the Coltons of Grave Gulch miniseries, and yes, it’s about the vast Colton family that always seems to get into trouble—and romance.

Even though October was the official release month Getaway with Murder, the first of Diane Kelly’s new Mountain Lodge Mysteries, it was late October so saying something in November works. Enjoyable book! That’s why I’m mentioning it here. The new series involves, yes, a mountain lodge that has just been refurbished. It’s a cozy mystery series so murders start occurring.  Another fun series by Diane!

And next year for me? I’ll have a new cozy mystery series beginning, too! However, is it really me? I’ve taken my very first pseudonym.  Lark O. Jensen is the author of Bear Witness, an Alaska Untamed Mystery, for Crooked Lane.

But it’ll be Linda O. Johnston who’s the author of Guardian K-9 On Call, which will be the second in my new miniseries Shelter of Secrets for Harlequin Romantic Suspense, also a May 2022 release.

Okay, I’ve talked about more than November. But here we are.  And I hope you all have great month and a fun Thanksgiving!

One person who comments will win a copy of Uncovering Colton’s Family Secret!

The Vestal Virgins

On my recent trip to Rome to finish researching St. Cecilia’s life for my historical fiction novel, Virgin Martyr, I spent some time at the Temple of Vesta and the home of the ancient Roman Vestal Virgins. One of my purposes in writing this book was to investigate how attitudes about women’s sexuality and social… Read More
