It’s such a pleasure to be here among writers and readers. Y’all are my people! I grew up reading voraciously to the point that when my mom 
really needed my attention or for me to do XYZ, she would threaten to take away my book. I don’t recall her actually ever following through with that because the threat was usually enough. 😊
I still remember the moment I read that Jo rejected Laurie and my absolute shock when he married Amy. To this day, I’m not sure I’m over it!
I wanted to be a card-carrying member of The Babysitter’s Club.
And when I was in my teens, I stumbled across my first stack of sweet, rated G romance books, which started my love affair with romance novels. I love a good love story!
I’ve been writing sweet, small-town romances for Harlequin Love Inspired for about ten years. And I recently dipped my toes into the waters of women’s fiction. THE SUMMER OF KEEPING SECRETS, releasing June 25th, will be my first foray into writing a book that includes romance but also focuses on family dynamics and a decades old secret.
It’s about a widowed mother and her grown children who meet in Dillon, Colorado to clean out their grandparents’ home. But along the way, the daughter discovers an article about a body that was found below the property 34 years earlier. And chaos ensues! 😄 
This is also the first time I’ve offered a pre-order gift for a book, which I had a lot of fun creating. The downloadable PDF includes a printable signed bookplate, a bonus epilogue, and four favorite family recipes. My family is known for our dill pickle recipe and hanging out in my grandmother’s kitchen is one of my favorite childhood memories—much like the daughter in THE SUMMER OF KEEPING SECRETS—so pulling together a few favorite recipes felt fitting.
