It’s the first week of December, and so it should come as no surprise, dear reader, that holiday-inspired tales dominate the new title offerings this month.
Whether it is Laura Marie Altom’s The Cowboy SEAL’s Jingle Bell Baby, Book 4 in her Cowboy SEALS Series, now out in mass-market paperback and eBook (the hardcover follows in January), or Amelia Grey’s new eBook Mistletoe, Mischief, and the Marquis, it’s all about the season.
In Grey’s story, the Marquis of Wythebury is expecting an ordinary Christmastide at his country estate until a cheeky Lillian Prim sets upon him for not allowing his young nephews to play outside. Few people have ever challenged the marquis on anything, much less the rearing of his wards, and it doesn’t help that Miss Prim happens to be the sister of his best friend. A tom boy in her own right, Lillian for her part cannot understand why two young healthy boys would be indoors when they could be out frolicking in the snow, and she takes it upon herself to teach the marquis’s charges the appeal of a little Christmastide mischief.
Meanwhile, Michelle Major climbs on board the holiday train with her new paperback and eBook Christmas on Crimson Mountain. Mary J. Williams sends a new eBook, Dreaming of a White Christmas, down the chimney, while RaeAnne Thayne pops not one but two Christmas tales into her holiday paperback (and eBook): The Holiday Gift and A Cold Creek Novel.
Is there a particular book you’re hoping will find its way under the tree or into your stocking? Or maybe a holiday favorite that you remember fondly? Pray, do share!
