Blood Drive
by Jeanne C. Stein

Anna Strong is a vampire caught between two worlds. She clings to what makes her human—her family, her job, her lover. But the pull of the undead is a siren song becoming impossible to resist.

Then she discovers her brother, who was tragically killed fourteen years ago, had a daughter he never knew about, and Trish is a child caught up in the worst kind of human nightmare. To save Trish, Anna may have to surrender to the animal side of her nature.

As Anna stalks Trish's predators, the concepts of good and evil are no longer clearly defined. Now Anna must determine who is the real monster—the humans who prey on children or herself, the vampire trying to save them.

Jeanne C. Stein's Bio

I am the author of the Anna Strong Vampire Chronicles.

I live in Denver but San Diego will always be home. It’s where I grew up. It’s where I set my books. I can show you Anna’s cottage on Isthmus Ct. in Mission Beach, take you to lunch at the Mission Cafe and grab a beer at The Green Flash.

I hope you enjoy Anna’s adventures. I have a great deal of fun writing them. Anna is a strong female protagonist who is battling the dual sides of her nature—she struggles to retain her humanity while fighting the beast within. She has a strong moral compass and values loyalty to her friends and family above all us.

If you haven’t yet discovered Anna, please give her a try. If you are a returning fan, I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the support. You can reach me on my website. I answer every email. I also share a blog with fellow vamp writer Mario Acevedo: http://www.biting-edge.blogspot.com We have a good time with it and I think you will too. Mario and I have the dubious distinction of being a part of a rather eclectic group of Urban Fantasy writers called The League of Reluctant Adults: http://reluctantadults.blogspot.com If you want a laugh, drop in anytime.
