She consulted an expert on bombs and military procedure--her husband, a retired Navy bomb disposal tech. Set in Scotland, a U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer is accidentally blown back to the fourteenth century. Using his knowledge of explosives, he attempts to return to his own time, by replicating the explosion that thrust him into the life of a woman struggling to keep the secret of her clan from the relentless English invasion. He soon realizes that he has the power to change the plight of the people he's come to care about and the woman he loves.

My storytelling career began at an early age when I, a fair- skinned redhead, attempted to convince my classmates that I was an Indian princess. Unfazed by this initial failure, I continued to spin tales about majestic castles, fierce warriors, and damsels in distress. So writing romance was a logical progression for me. I'm occasionally drawn from my fantasy world when the dust bunnies get big enough to scare my chocolate lab, Nestle, or my husband asks me to slip a recent photo of myself under the office door.
