In this capacity, Dave reviews legislation before the House, serves as the House Parliamentarian during floor proceedings, and acts as the House Ethics Officer.
LINE OF VISION, Dave's first novel, won the Edgar Allan Poe Award for Best First Novel by an American Author. Since then, he has published LIFE SENTENCE, JURY OF ONE, and IN THE COMPANY OF LIARS. Dave's new novel, EYE OF THE BEHOLDER, will be released in July, 2007.
