Writers find inspiration in the most unlikely places — a faint smile, an odd turn of phrase, a boarded up old house tucked into the Alps on a hiking trail outside of Chamonix. It’s hard to say what little spark will find its way into the deepest corners of the imagination and ignite a story. I’ve been writing for a long time. You can find my short fiction in literary journals like KARAMU, Eclipse and Concho River Review, and while I have the utmost respect for the short story format, it’s the novel I love.
