Jim Grimsley is the author of four previous novels: Winter Birds, a finalist for the PEN/Hemingway Award and winner of the Sue Kaufman Prize for First Fiction from the American Academy of Arts and Letters; Dream Boy, nominated for the Lambda Literary Award for fiction and winner of the GLBTF Book Award for literature from the ALA; My Drowning, a Lila Wallace-Reader's Digest Writer's Award winner; and Comfort and Joy.
