While attending Southern Illinois University as a Radio and Television major, Bonnie Tucker's dream had been to write television news and documentaries. After moving to Houston she freelanced for newspapers and magazines. When she won Harlequin Temptation's voice of the '90s contest in 1994 her writing dream took a different direction. In 1996, she sold HANNAH'S HUNKS to Harlequin's Love & Laughter line. HANNAH'S HUNKS went on to win the Texas Gold Romance award.
