The Virtuous Knight
by Margo Maguire

One thought consumed her: escape! Lucy Kendal would do anything to leave the convent she'd called home since girlhood. But never had she dreamed the world contained such danger — and such desire — as she'd experienced firsthand. Though Sir Alexander Breton had rescued her countless times, he also stirred in her a sense of wildness — something he was honor bound never to fulfill!

One emotion compelled him: grief! Widowed knight Alexander Breton had gone crusading to retreat from sorrow. Indeed, he was to take monastic vows after fulfilling a sacred quest for a dying friend. But fate decreed he would instead find Lucy Kendal, the brave, beauteous innocent, who needed protection...and needed him!

Margo Maguire's Bio

Margo Maguire lives in the Detroit area with her husband and three teenagers. She's worked as a critical care nurse for years, but recently turned to writing fiction full time. After returning to college to earn a degree in history, Margo came to realize that a good bit of history was stranger than fiction. She decided to put the two together, the results of which are the four Medieval novels she has published with Harlequin. Her fifth will be a May ?02 release, BRIDE OF THE ISLE, and the sixth comes out in December. It?s called NORWYCK?S LADY.
