E. F. Watkins' Bio

Eileen F. Watkins has published horror short stories in the magazines BELLADONNA and DOPPLEGANGER, and won top prizes in writing contests sponsored by the Garden State Horror Writers and the Philadelphia Writer's Conference. She is a founding member of, and publicity officer for, the Garden State Horror Writers. She also is a member of the Horror Writers Association, Sisters in Crime/Central Jersey and The Writer's Workshop, Englewood, NJ. She has taught seminars on fiction writing for the Wayne Adult School, Wayne, NJ.

DANCE WITH THE DRAGON, her first published novel, received a 2004 EPPIE Award as Best Horror Novel from the Electronically Published Internet Connection. Her science-fiction thriller BLACK FLOWERS has been named a finalist for the 2006 EPPIES in the Action/Thriller category. She also has published the mystery RIDE A DANCING HORSE (2004) and the horror novel PARAGON (2005).
