Shadowlord
by Charlotte Boyett-Compo

ShadowWind series.

The Shadowlord and the Amazeen, Jaelan and Aradia... They met a lifetime ago, in a world an eternity away. His world was filled with dark, soul-destroying pain. Her world was filled with what she thought was undying love. Their worlds would collide in the heat of the desert and take them from the depths of despair to the heights of ecstasy.

Kathleen watches from the silken prison of Jaelan's greatest enemy and plies her sorceress art for his protection. He is her only reason for living, her other half and her only hope in a world that has become her living tomb. She fears the love he has found with Aradia may mean his destruction or—worse still—bring about his violent death. She prays she can protect him against the needs of his lonely heart and thwart the evil that stalks his every move.

Intrigue and adventure abound in a land where evil is never more than a footstep away. In the shadows of a sinister fortress, uncontrollable passions duel with unnatural hatred and unrelenting revenge as an imprisoned woman fights to save the life and sanity of the Shadowlord.
