A lifelong passion for history and historical fiction set my feet on the writer's path more than twenty years ago. Mozart's Wife was a 2000 Frankfurt nominee and won the First Independent e-Book Award for fiction. Genesee, set during the Revolutionary War in upstate NY, won the 2003 Epic Award for Best Historical, and received five stars from Affaire de Coeur and Romantic Times. Independent Heart, companion to Genesee, is set in the Hudson Valley during the American Revolution. Red Magic is a newly pubbed "drawer" baby, with an Austrian setting and a hero borrowed from Mozart's Wife-- one of those characters who simply demand another story.
