While attending Southern Illinois University as a Radio and Television major, Bonnie Tucker's dream had been to write television news and documentaries. After moving to Houston she freelanced for newspapers and magazines. When she won Harlequin Temptation's voice of the '90s contest in 1994 her writing dream took a different direction.

In 1996, she sold HANNAH'S HUNKS to Harlequin's Love & Laughter line. HANNAH'S HUNKS went on to win the Texas Gold Romance award. Bonnie, single mother of three, is now writing her 7th Harlequin novel, THE SPERM, THE EGG AND THE COWBOY. She has taught romance novel writing at The University of Houston, given writing workshops on all aspects of novel structure, including "The Alfred Hitchcock Way to Write a Comedy That Sells" across the United States, and has been a frequent speaker at conferences.

Bonnie's advice to all writers is to follow your dreams and don't let anything stop you for reaching your goals.
