I am currently reading the book: This is Your Brain In Love by Dr. Earl Henslin "More Breakthroughs for a More Passionate and Emotionally Healthy Marriage."

Here's a little hint for you (but only if you hold a tissue). Go to page 13 and read Chapter Two. "Eroticism is....where a man experiences a woman with all his senses and not just his eyes. It's the insatiable desire to know someone completely."

Meditation

I've begun to meditate using Dr. Daniel Amen's techniques. He began his psychological studies with military men and women, but now has several clinics that actually do brain mapping and analysis. I'm trying to go see this wonderful, brilliant doctor who has done cutting-edge studies on the brain, and the healthy effects of love on the brain tissue itself. "True Love Heals In The Gardens Of The Heart" is my tagline. It is no accident I've found this amazing physician of the soul.

Writing Cottage

Those of you who have followed me know that I have been longing for a writing cottage for nearly three years. I've dreamt about it, put deposits on little sheds and buildings, looked all over the US for little places I could put in my backyard to write in my own fantasy world. I have no problem with my beautiful new home, but I'm distracted by anything and I love my music, my candles and my colors, and don't want to share when I'm in "that mood."

This weekend, we found the perfect trailer. It is a 1950 Glider, all aluminum exterior and very space-age looking. It's plain now, but I'm going to customize it. And I plan to share the pictures in my newsletters first. You'll be the first to see what my crazy brain comes up with.

The interior has been fixed, lovingly restored to its original condition. The roof and undercarriage, brakes and tires (with whitewalls!) have been redone. The aluminum skin is polished to a beautiful glow. The couple who does these (I will have pictures when I take delivery of her) does only one trailer a year. In fact, this trailer will be featured this fall in the TV series Flipping RVs.

I'm showing off the plain clean lines of it, the "before" shots and a couple of things I purchased to showcase there. Band of Bachelors: Lucas

I've taken more time with Lucas — maybe it's because I don't want him to go away! The book is now in heavy edits for the October 19th release. Help me spread the word as early on in the preorder the book was listed as 67 pages. No one caught it, or said anything to me. I just discovered this last week. UGH. So your help in promoting this wonderful Book 11 in the SEAL Brotherhood Series (Book 1 in the Band of Bachelors) would be greatly appreciated. After all, like any good piece of fiction, it could happen.

Lucas was hearing things he never thought possible, things so far from his imagination he had a hard time understanding the actual words. It was as if Grande was speaking Pashtu.

"—that terrorists could come here on U.S. soil, could kidnap a bunch of Navy SEALs and bring them back to Iraq. Their own twisted version of a snatch and grab."

The squad erupted in a string of expletives, each mumbling their favorite words of disgust.

Jake was the first to speak coherently. "You have to be shittin' me. That's the dumbest idea I've ever heard."

Thom smiled, even though his gaze remained hard. "I agree. It sounds farfetched." He looked right at Lucas as he continued, "But if they could, and that's a pretty big if, the propaganda factor would be huge. Even if they halfway carried some part of it off, their mission would make headlines all over the world."

Kyle took one long step, slamming his boot coming to sharp attention as he joined Grande. "Unlike our side, those bastards don't care about the loss of life. They're looking for sensational things they can do to swell the ranks with new recruits. Trust me, gents, something like this would be huge for them, even if they fail. And make no doubt about it—they will fail."

Sisters On The Fly

I've mentally committed to attending one of the Sisters get-togethers in 2016. Here is a reprint of my blog about these amazing ladies.

Yup! I'm a member. I even got two calls from ladies who welcomed me to their club! The rules? No men, no children, no pets and play nice. These wild women are just the right kinds of friends I need. Look for a romance novel to be written on that adventure next year. More to come.
