July News from Lucy Monroe

Summer is speeding by — Isn’t it funny that we look so forward to summer getting here and before we know it is over? It has been a very busy summer so far filled with LOTS of great things. Let me share with you some of the highlights. Hubcab, my wonderfully, amazing husband, graduate with his Master’s Degree — so proud of you honey! We spent a few days in Portland visiting the girls, grandkids and family. My sister and her family and my youngest daughter and her girls came down for a week. They had a blast visiting Disneyland, Universal Studios and swimming in the condo pool. I’m tired just reading through the list. There’s still a month of summer left, hope yours has been filled with great memories.

Touch Me, book #1 in The Langley Family Trilogy was released in time for the 4th of July weekend. If you haven’t picked it up yet, you can get it for .99 at your favorite ebook retailer. Tempt Me (book #2) and Take Me (book #3) will be out in the next few weeks. If you read the books when they were originally released, be sure to pick up these ebooks as there are additions to the books.

Usually summer affords us some extra time to read. I hope you have found some amazing books by following my #greatsummerreads on Facebook, Twitter, google+ and my blog. I love reading and sharing with you some the books I have enjoyed. I would love to know what books you are reading. Keep reading all summer and look for a #greatsummerreads contest at the end of August to win free books.

Another great resource for finding books you love is the Novel Engagement App. It is an app just for romance readers. It really is like browsing the shelves in the library from the comfort of your home. You can read about the book or an excerpt, watch a book trailer and link to the buy links. I’m so excited to be part of this.

Do you ever get overwhelmed by the amount of social media out there? It seems that a new site is popping up every day. I’ve taken the plunge into google+ recently. I’m not sure what I think about it yet, but one feature I do like are the circles. It seems that the content is easier to sort through. Are you on google+? What do you like about it?
