What’s a Trope?

What’s a trope? Well, do you enjoy reading romance? If so, what is your favorite kind? Second chance at love? Later in life romance? Marriage of convenience? Arranged marriage? Single mom? Single dad? In the “biz,” these are called, “tropes”—“defined as a recurring theme or motif, as in literature or art: the trope of motherhood; the heroic trope.” You see there are all kinds of romance tropes and we all have our favorites.

My contemporary romance, ELLIE’S FOREVER FAMILY, is a second chance at love with a little matchmaker romance. The little matchmaker is four-year-old Rylee, the daughter of my single dad (yes another “trope”) hero, Pete. Here’s the scoop:

Clean and wholesome small town romance—ELLIE’S FOREVER FAMILY— A little girl matchmaker who needs a mother’s love won’t be deterred by a love-shy father and a sworn-off-men lady. Rylee has her work cut out for her with these two stubborn adults! A heartwarming story of faith and love by USA Today Bestselling Author Lyn Cote

IT’S ON SALE TILL SEPT 3RD for only 99 cents. And is free if you subscribe to Kindle Unlimited. Please leave a comment, telling me what is your favorite type of romance or give me the title of your favorite romance and I will draw randomly a winner of one e-book copy of ELLIE’S FOREVER FAMILY.
