What is YOUR favorite Fourth of July memory?

Funny how memories work: you hear a sound or smell a scent and suddenly you recall a scene that made you incredibly happy or emotional. You’re back in the moment, living that day over again. We all have memories like that: of gorgeous summer days or crisp winter mornings, of people we met, of things we did together. The Fourth of July is typically a day where such memories are made: we spend time with family and friends, doing fun activities like attending a car parade, having a picnic or BBQ, doing games and watching fireworks. In A ROYAL SECOND CHANCE SUMMER my heroine Lizzie Cates is on the organizing committee for the Fourth of July festivities in her small town. A handsome stranger who wants her to track a precious heirloom, offers a helping hand. As they decorate a stage, engage locals for the parade and spend time together, sparks fly. Maybe this can become a Fourth of July they will remember for the rest of their lives. Share YOUR favorite Fourth memory! Did you meet your spouse? Have your baby? Reunite with a long lost friend? Or simply enjoy a family recipe, a tradition you pass on through the generations? Leave a comment. I’d love to hear from you!

About the book:

Prince Nicolas is looking for a priceless royal heirloom. Trying to stay under the radar, he keeps that he’s a prince secret—especially from the cute antiques dealer he asks to help him. The longer it takes, the more time they get to spend together, though no matter how attracted he is to Lizzie, love is certainly not an option for the heir to the crown of Belfort.

Lizzie Cates fled her family’s new-found fame and fortune because life in the spotlight wasn’t for her. She loves her small town, where the most exciting thing on the schedule is the car parade for the Fourth of July. That’s just how she likes it, until Nicolas comes along. Lizzie finds herself falling for the caring man who craves the country and small-town life as much as she does.

Except Nicolas has a secret that will shatter both their dreams…

A ROYAL SECOND CHANCE SUMMER is out now from Entangled Bliss! Book 3 in the Little Shops on Heart Street series (about smalltown shopkeepers finding love when they least expect it), it can be read as standalone.

Nothing as exciting as this. Just family time and fireworks for us.
