Books and Comfort Food: A Magical Match

on January 12, 2018

Judy, a super-fan, awesome cook, and co-founder of two San Francisco Bay Area book clubs, recently bemoaned the lack of food mentioned in my Arthurian fantasy, THE AMBER ELIXIR. She had chosen my tale of magic, shape-shifters, and the quest to win back a forbidden love as the novel of the month for one of… Read More

Ariella Moon

Ariella Moon

Ariella Moon draws upon her experiences as a shaman and former teen to create magical Young Adult fiction. Her Two Realms Trilogy is a medieval fantasy adventure series. The Teen Wytche Saga is a series of sweet contemporary paranormal romances.

Ariella spent her childhood searching for a magical wardrobe that would transport her to Narnia. Extreme math anxiety and taller students that mistook her for a leaning post marred her youth. Despite these horrors, she graduated summa cum laude from the University of California at Davis. She lives a nearly normal life doting on her extraordinary daughter, two shamelessly spoiled dogs, and a media-shy dragon.

Ariella loves to hear from her readers. You can reach her here.

Deb Marlowe

Deb Marlowe

Deb Marlowe loves History, England and Men in Boots. Clearly she was meant to write Regency Historical Romance! Deb grew up in Pennsylvania with her nose in a book. Luckily, she'd read enough romances to recognize the true modern hero she met at a college Halloween party---even though he wore a tuxedo t-shirt instead of breeches and tall boots. They married, settled in North Carolina and produced two handsome, intelligent and genuinely amusing boys. Though she spends much of her time with her nose in her laptop, for the sake of her family she does occasionally abandon her inner world for the domestic adventure of laundry, dinner and carpool. Despite her sacrifice, not one of the men in her family is yet willing to don breeches or tall boots. She's working on it. Deb loves to hear from readers! You can contact her at [email protected].
