How does my writing fare in all of this?  Well, my last two books of 2018,… Read More

And More Anticipation

on October 17, 2018

by Linda O. Johnston Last month I blogged here about anticipation, even including an official definition.  And part of what I was anticipating then came true! Of course, I expected it to.  I’d been waiting for the publication of my second K-9 Ranch Rescue story for Harlequin Romantic Suspense: Trained to Protect.  It was, in… Read More

Anticipation

on September 12, 2018

One of the definitions of anticipation in the Merriam-Webster online dictionary is: ” the act of looking forward; especially : pleasurable expectation.” That confirms I’m in a state of anticipation.  Of what?  The next two months, because in each of them I will have a new book published. Yes, I’ve already had two books published… Read More

Multiplicity and Milestones

on July 10, 2018

by Linda O. Johnston Writing in multiple genres. I’ve blogged about that here before, and now it’s on my mind again enough for me to create another blog post about it. Why? The New Year Has Begun

In fact, 2018 is already marching forward. Today is the ninth day already. This will be a busy year for me. The first of my four new books to be published this year will be in March. It’s the first in my new K-9 Ranch Rescue miniseries for Harlequin Romantic Suspense: Second Chance Soldier. The… Read More

Writing in Multiple Genres

on August 22, 2017

by Linda O. Johnston I’ve been talking a lot lately about writing in multiple genres and thought I’d do so here, too.  I had a blog posted about it at another site, plus I talked about it at the Santa Clarita Romance Authors meeting last weekend. Why talk about it?  Because I do it!  I’ve… Read More

Dog Days of Summer

on July 13, 2017

by Linda O. Johnston The dog days of summer are here, which makes me very happy.  Oh, not the heat associated with those dog days, but just the fact they are called dog days.  For anyone who doesn’t know it–or if you didn’t read my post last month about letting me bark to you about… Read More

Two in a Row!

on June 7, 2017

by Linda O. Johnston This month is fairly unusual for me.  I’m fortunate enough to have had quite a few books traditionally published, with more coming up in the future.  But it’s rare that they’re published back-to-back, one each in two adjoining months. Like now. As I’ve mentioned here before, BAD TO THE BONE, my… Read More

An Interesting May

on May 23, 2017

by Linda O. Johnston I’m delighted that it’s May.  Or at least I was.  This month, my third Barkery & Biscuits Mystery BAD TO THE BONE was published.  As I’d mentioned in earlier blogs, I’ve been doing all kinds of things to let people know about it, including participating on a panel at Malice Domestic… Read More
