The Supporting Cast

on November 24, 2020

My Dark Desires series takes place in the distant future where man has fled to the stars. It’s a mixture of science fiction, paranormal, and romance and it follows the adventures, romantic and otherwise, of the crew of the spaceship, the Blood Hunter. It’s always been my favorite series to write, mainly because absolutely anything… Read More

After training as an accountant, she spent four years working as a volunteer in Zambia, which left her with a love of the sun and a dislike of nine-to-five work. She then spent a number of years mixing travel (whenever possible) with work (whenever necessary) but has now settled down to a life of writing and picking almonds on a remote farm in the mountains of southern Spain. Nina writes all types of romance, often mixed with elements of the paranormal and science fiction.

The Thorns of Success by Harmony Williams

on November 23, 2020

In July 2020, in the midst of a pandemic, I wrote the first drafts of three books back to back. It was the first time since I’d lost the function of my wrists that I’d been able to accomplish a feat of that magnitude. It felt incredible. The obsession with my books, always thinking about… Read More

Who doesn’t love Christmas cookies?

on November 17, 2020

In my book, The Mistletoe Trap, my hero and heroine, who are best friends, start flirting and food fighting as they decorate cookies. And maybe it’s all the mistletoe their families have hung, but suddenly the decorating session turns into a kissing session. Luckily kissing burns calories, because Gavin’s an NFL quarterback who likes to… Read More

Cindi Madsen

Cindi Madsen

Cindi Madsen is a USA Today Bestselling author of contemporary romance and young adult novels. She sits at her computer every chance she gets, plotting revising, and falling in love with her characters. Sometimes it makes her a crazy person. Without it, she'd be even crazier. She has way too many shoes, but can always find a reason to buy a new pretty pair, especially if they're sparkly, colorful, or super tall. She loves music, dancing, and wishes summer lasted all year long. She lives in Colorado (where summer is most definitely NOT all year long) with her husband and three children.

How writing plus-size characters has helped me embrace my body

on November 9, 2020

Body image is something that has always been a challenging topic for me. I was always very athletic and active, studying multiple forms of dance, from ballet to jazz to tap to hip hop. I played softball and took part in track and field activities at my school. But I also developed very quickly and… Read More

Stefanie London

Stefanie London

Stefanie London is the USA Today bestselling author of contemporary romance with humour, heat and heart. Growing up, Stefanie came from a family of women who loved to read. Her favourite activity was going shopping with her Nan during school holidays, where she would sit on the floor of the bookstore with her little sister and painstakingly select the books to spend her allowance on. Thankfully, Nan was a patient woman. Thus, it was no surprise Stefanie was the sort of student who would read her English books before the semester started. After sneaking several literature subjects into her 'very practical' Business degree, she got a job in Communications. When writing emails and newsletters didn't fulfil her creative urges, she turned to fiction and was finally able to write the stories that kept her mind busy at night. Now she lives with her very own hero and dreams of travelling the world. She frequently indulges in her passions for good coffee, French perfume, high heels and zombie movies. Recently she gave up her day job to write sexy, contemporary romance stories and she couldn't be happier.

2020 has been a year for the history books, and it’s not over. There’s been so much fear and hardship, stress and worry for the entire world. A global pandemic has taken over all our lives. But like in any time of darkness, there is always light. As we adjusted to the new normal, we… Read More

N. J. Walters

N. J. Walters

N.J. Walters has always been a voracious reader of romance novels and decided one day that she could write one as well. The contemporary story, Discovering Dani, was the very first novel she wrote while living in a little town much like the one Dani O'Rourke lives in, though all other similarities to Dani's life pretty much end there. Then she wrote another one that followed up on Dani's friends and neighbors. But she didn't consider herself a "real" writer yet. Just a few years later N. J. had a mid-life crisis at a fairly young age, gave notice after ten years at her job on a Friday and received a tentative acceptance for her first published novel (an erotic romance) from a publisher on the following Sunday. Happily married for over eighteen years to the love of her life, with his encouragement and support she gave up the job of selling books for the more pleasurable job of writing them. She now spends her days writing, reading and reviewing books. It's a tough life, but someone's got to do it. And some days she actually feels like a "real" writer.

When Inspiration Calls At an Ungodly Hour

on September 28, 2020

by Allison B. Hanson Ask many authors when they knew they wanted to write books, and you’ll often hear how they knew since they were children, or wrote their first book in third grade. I, however, do not have that story. My muse woke me around four a.m. on November 20th, 2009 and wouldn’t let… Read More

Visiting Scotland’s Outposts

on September 24, 2020

Recently a friend and I planned a trip with Scottish guide James Campbell that would allow us to get away from the popular tourist destinations—Edinburgh, Urquhart, Stirling Castles—and see remote parts of Scotland. After arriving at the Edinburgh airport (where Customs/Immigration is the easiest I’ve ever experienced…you simply put your passport on a screen, wait… Read More

Covid-19 has upended life almost everywhere on the planet. Daily activities, family dynamics, travel, healthcare concerns, and how and where we work changed overnight. A lot of us are operating within bubbles—sticking to the closest grocery store, and spending time face-to-face with only one or two family members and friends. Which is difficult. Any large… Read More

What makes a book a keeper for me?

on August 27, 2020

Like a lot of authors,I’ve been an avid reader since I was a young girl. Reading now is an activity that sits in this strange spot half-way between work and pleasure. I read for enjoyment, but I also read to keep my creative well full while I’m working on a project. Over the years I’ve… Read More

Revolutionary Reflections

on August 26, 2020

Travel feels like something that’s so out of reach these days. While spending most of my time at home the past few months, one thing that has helped to get me through each day is reflecting on my trip to Paris. Over two weeks, I trekked through as many sites and museums as my legs… Read More
