Summer eBook Encores

Writerspace - Let's Talk Books icon.indd

August is quickly moving into the rearview mirror, and that means summer is coming to a close.  What better way to enjoy the dog days of summer than with a tablet loaded up with novels making their reissue encore in eBook form?

The choices run the gamut:  historic romances, contemporary romance, western love stories, and paranormal mystery.

Don't Tempt MeBegin with #1 New York Times Bestselling Author Sylvia Day’s reissue of Don’t Tempt Me, Book 4 in The Georgian Series.  The seductive Lysette Rousseau is known for being bold and manipulative one moment and sweetly innocent the next; she’s also the only woman Simon Quinn can’t seem to figure out.  A hardened mercenary as adept in bed as battle, Simon can have any woman he wants. Yet something tells him the enigmatic Lysette is bound to bring him trouble.

The Inn at Eagle PointFor those who prefer their history served up as time travel, Amy Jarecki reissues not one but two titles in her Guardian of Scotland travel adventure in an eBook box set.  In Rise of a Legend, journalist Eva MacKay awakens to the sharp point of a madman’s sword in the midst of a bloody 13th century battle.  But that’s not the biggest surprise awaiting her. Instead, she finds herself hauled to the castle of William Wallace only to find real chemistry between her and the greatest legend Scotland has ever known.  Rounding off the two-story offering is In the Kingdom’s Name in which William Wallace finds himself a war hero and now Guardian of Scotland. But as he tries to navigate the machinations of court, disaster strikes, and the love of his life, Eva MacKay is hurled back to the 21st century.

New York Times Bestselling Author Sherryl Woods has had a busy August already. The premiere of her Chesapeake Shores TV series debuted this past Sunday (August 14th) on the Hallmark Channel, so it is only fitting that three books from the series would be reissued, starting with The Inn at Eagle Point this month.  Flowers on Main will follow in September, and Harbor Lights arrives in October. And all three books will be available again in print and as eBooks.

What a lovely way to begin the segue into fall.

Has one of your favorite books ever been made into a TV movie or series?  If so, please share.
