Hi, everyone. Welcome to my first Writerspace blog of 2016.
This happens to be a very busy month for me. Rather than at the usual holiday season, I just had family visiting me, including my two young grandsons. They were around for two wonderful weeks in which I got little done but it was worth it.
Now, I’ve got to do some final edits on my second Barkery & Biscuits Mystery, TO CATCH A TREAT. It’ll be published in May.
And my fun news? You may have heard this before since I’m so happy about it that I have to keep talking about it. The first in the series, BITE THE BISCUIT, is a finalist in the fiction category for the Maxwell Awards of the Dog Writers Association of America! Now, I love dogs and I love writing, so whether or not I wind up winning I’m really excited about being a finalist. In fact, I intend to go to New York next month for the awards ceremony and so I can meet even more dog-loving writers.
What’s my next deadline? The third in the same series!
Meantime, the e-version of my time travel romance THE BALLAD OF JACK O’DAIR will be published in just a few days: January 25. It’s been available for preorder for a couple of months and I’ve mentioned it before.
Hope you’re having a wonderful 2016 so far and that it just keeps getting better.
Looking forward to reading the second installment of the Bakery & Biscuits series. I really enjoyed the first one.
