When #1 New York Times Bestselling Author Robyn Carr’s Virgin River Series debuted in 2007, readers got something many didn’t even realize they had been missing: heroes with honor and integrity.
With her Thunder Point Series, the Nevada author tapped another unspoken but universal desire in the idea of the beauty of second chances . . . Thunder Point Novel No. 7 is out this month, and One Wish explores the counter-intuitive idea of stepping out of the limelight to find happiness in a small town.
March also sees Christina Dodd’s full-length Governess Brides historical, A Pirate’s Wife for Me (Governess Brides #11), released in paperback. Caitlin MacLeod has graduated from The Distinguished Academy of Governesses, and less you think her time there was all about mastering the womanly arts, be warned that picking locks is easily as useful a skill for a woman as knowing how to mend socks, especially in the eyes of a pirate!
This month also sees a flurry of four reissues from Diana Palmer, including the Texas love stories Amelia, Heartbreaker, Eye of the Tiger (yes she laid claim to this before the Katy Perry song), and Champagne Girl.
Meanwhile Madeline Hunter debuts her new Wicked Trilogy with His Wicked Reputation tomorrow. Book 1 finds Eva Russell living a spinster’s life while clinging to her family’s old gentry status, when a massive art theft brings the worldly Gareth Fitzallen to Langdon’s End. As Taylor Swift would say, “trouble, trouble, trouble.”
And if Punxsutawney Phil, the world’s most beloved seasonal prognosticator and groundhog, is to be believed, winter will linger late into March, so keep your eReader handy and ready for possible weather delays with these new ebook offerings: Debra Clopton’s Rafe (Mule Hollow Book 2), Dani Collins’s The Bachelor’s Baby, Dale Mayer’s Scars (Broken but . . . Mending Book 2), Jennifer Probst’s Chasing Me (Sex on the Beach Book 2), Joanne Rock’s Strangers in Paradise (a Valentine Vixen novella), Alexandra Sokoloff’s Blood Moon (the Huntress/FBI Thrillers Book 2).
Comment on today’s blog and you could win a trio of paranormal romance titles, including GUARDIAN DEMON by Meljean Brook, MIDNIGHT by Ellen Connor and ARCHANGEL’S SHADOWS by Nalini Singh. One person will be chosen at random to win!
