It’s April now. I’ve mentioned here before that I have four books being released this year. The first was last month, Second Chance Soldier, the first in my new Harlequin Romantic Suspense miniseries K-9 Ranch Rescue.
The second will be next month, Pick and Chews, the fourth book in my Barkery & Biscuits mystery series for Midnight Ink.
So, yes, this is an in-between month. Does that mean I can just sit back and relax? No way. I want to let everyone know about both of these books, so promotion is at the top of my agenda. Sort of.
That’s why I’m talking about both of them here. I’ve blogged about them elsewhere, too, and will continue to. I’m doing chats with Writerspace and hope to get a newsletter out soon. I’m working on doing a blog tour for my new mystery, plus I’m on panels here and there and attending the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books, signing at three booths, both a romance authors’ one and two for mystery authors. That’s in a couple of weeks.
Also, I’ll be at Malice Domestic at the end of the month, a wonderful conference for readers and writers of cozy mysteries.
In addition, I’m under an upcoming deadline for another book, plus I’m doing copyedits for one of the books still to be published this year.
Busy, yes. But I’m still spending plenty of time with my dogs. They deserve it!
So… I’d better stop writing this now and get back to work. And hugging my dogs.
