Having an Affair…With a Fictional Hero!

Enslaved by Shoshanna EversI admit it, I’ve been having a love affair of sorts…with the BAD Boys from the Enslaved Trilogy! My husband is very understanding, bless his heart. He knows how many late nights I’ve spent thinking about these three Doms, writing these books. Dreaming about them. And…well, falling a little bit in love with each one. It’s one of the hazards of writing erotic romance.

Trevor Brooks, Marc Wilde, Roman Chase. *sighs* How can I help myself? Billionaires (why not? It’s fiction, right? LOL) and hot as hell. I’ve been asked who I love most of all, but that would be like asking me to choose which of my children of love most.

Enamored by Shoshanna EversAfter each book I wrote for the trilogy, I could answer unequivocally. After I wrote Enslaved, I was in love with Trevor. Now that Enamored is out, I’m cheating on Trevor (you know, in my mind) with Marc. The tattoos! I luurve the tats!

But I’m going to spill a secret here. My biggest crush of all is on Roman. Weird, I know, since he’s the sadist, and he’s so…broken. Really broken. Maybe that’s why each book features Roman so prominently, even though he’s not the hero of until the 3rd book, Enraptured.

But, to each her own. Do you have a “book boyfriend”? Do you want one? LOL

Enraptured by Shoshanna EversThe publisher, Simon & Schuster’s Pocket Star, has given me a free promo code to give away for Enslaved, the first book in the trilogy. You don’t need to read Enslaved to enjoy Enamored, since each book stands alone, but they do interconnect.

I’m also running a contest on my site, where I’m giving away an autographed paperback edition of The Dominatrix Fantasy Trilogy, which features a sexy Domme, like Mistress Lauren in Enamored! Just click here to enter.

Enamored, Book Two in the Enslaved Trilogy, from Simon & Schuster’s Pocket Star imprint, just released May 13, 2013 and is available now at AmazonBarnes & NobleKobo and iTunes.

The second original eBook in the red-hot Enslaved trilogy begins with a dangerous bet that turns good friends into exquisite lovers.

Billionaire BAD Boy Marc Wilde has never met a woman who could fulfill his every need…until he takes his good friend and fellow dominant Mistress Lauren up on a dangerous bet—a bet where she ends up as his sex slave for a week. Can a Dominatrix fall in love with a Dom? Only if she can find a way to submit to Marc’s every desire and be happy about it. Lauren has her doubts…but the flirtation, the friendship, and the sex might be too much for either to resist…

******Tell me which romance novel hero (from any book!) stars in your dreams, and I’ll pick one winner randomly to get an ebook of Enslaved, the first book in the Enslaved Trilogy!

  1. I am and have always been in love/lust wihth Noah Webster from Karen Rose’s I Can See You. I’m sure I’re read the book at least 100 times. I have the hardback, hardback in large print, 2 paperbacks (one of which is well-worn) and I also have it on Kindle. Karen Rose has been on my Top 10 list for many years and I’ve loved all her books .. but something resonates deep inside me with Noah. He is so flawed and so perfect. He’s not afraid to face his flaws and he is so gentle and loving with Eve. Noah is THE protector yet he doesn’ t take away Eve’s well-earned self respect and pride. This was just the most perfect book. I vote for Noah!!

  2. Wow, any book worth reading 100 times sounds good to me! 🙂

  3. I’m in love with Roarke from the Eve Dallas series. I love his Irish accent, his bad boy past and his charm.

  4. Vicki Batman says:

You know I never fell in love before until Joe Morelli from Janet E’s books. He’s got sass, a twinkle to stop my heart, and cares deeply. Not to mention he’s strong and brave.

  5. Gotta love bad boy pasts… and the brave type. Yum!

  6. Lately Caleb from Capitve/Seduced in the Dark has been stuck in my dreams! He’s the ultimate broken Alpha.

    1. I just read that book! Caleb is definitely sexy in that broken Alpha way 🙂

      1. Cissy says:

Now there's a potential blog post. What is it about broken/scarred alphas that make them so damned sexy? :)

        1. Hey, maybe that will be my blog post for Enraptured next month on Writerspace! 🙂

          1. Cissy says:

            I like it! 🙂

  7. I know that this really doesn’t count since he is from a comic and not book per say but I find Superman to be devlishly handsome, and would love to worship at his feet, and even his loins.

    1. That totally counts. Superman is very hot. 😉

  8. I’m completely, utterly and deeply in love and lust with Daniel the Librarian from Tiffany Reisz’ Original Sinners stories. Not only is he a librarian (I mean, he’s a book-man) but he’s also a wonderful mixture of strenght and weakness, love and control. Wouldn’t mind him in my life at all 🙂

    1. Oooh, I like Soren from Tiffany’s Original Sinners Series 🙂

  9. Okay so I’m new to you and haven’t read your books yet but I am sooo looking forward to them! There are so many I love but one of the top on the list is Vane Kattalakis from Night Play by Sherrilyn Kenyon. Wolf shifter, protective of his family, doesn’t Monday a little meat on his woman’s bones, lol

    1. Thanks Barbara! Mistress Lauren from Enamored is full-figured and Marc loves it! Definitely a good quality in a hero like Vane.

  10. I too fall in love with each character I write.

    1. It’s almost unavoidable, we spend so much time with them in our heads, lol

  11. Thanks for commenting, guys!
