Fanning the Flame

Fanning the Flame FANNING THE FLAME is the third book in my Rogue’s Trilogy, after HEARTLESS and THE FIRE INSIDE.  The books were originally titled Heartless, Reckless, and Shameless, but after HEARTLESS was released, the titles were changed.  Tricky to figure out even today.

The books, unavailable for over a decade, are now out in all digital formats.

In FANNING THE FLAME, Jillian Whitney, well-born but penniless, has been living under the roof of a wealthy nobleman old enough to be her father.  Intrigued by the beautiful young woman, Adam Hawthorne, the mysterious Earl of Blackwood, hopes to lure her into changing protectors.

The London ton is abuzz with the scandal.

Then Jillian’s beloved guardian is murdered and she is the only suspect.  Forced to flee, she falls prey to the earl, who offers refuge from the law but no escape from his dark passions.

Though Jillian may lose her heart, she knows Adam will never marry a woman tainted by scandal.  But does the mysterious dark earl harbor secrets of his own?

I hope you’ll watch for FANNING THE FLAME and if you haven’t read HEARTLESS and THE FIRE INSIDE, I hope you will.  Till next time, all best and happy reading, Kat
