Do You Remember Your First Secret Crush?

by Ariella Moon

October and the season of the witch are finally upon us! Here in the southern California desert, I miss crisp autumn days, cleansing rains, and swirling crimson and gold leaves. So I channel those sensations and the magic of First Love into my sweet romance series, the Teen Wytche Saga.

Do you remember your high school years? They weren’t always easy, right? Did you have a secret crush? I did. A mere glimpse of him (and I furtively searched the corridors and quad for him) would accelerate my pulse. Dragonflies would launch in my abdomen. I would have died if we had made eye contact.

You remember the sensation.

Now imagine how you would feel if your self-absorbed best friend acquired a spell book and decided to cast a binding love spell on your secret crush. What would you do? What could you do to stop her before Halloween and the full moon?

These are the questions and memories I funneled into SPELL CHECK, Book 1, The Teen Wytche Saga.

Would I have used magic in high school? Not for a love spell. Serious karmic repercussions occur when a binding love spell is directed at a specific person against his or her will. But if there had been a Math Clarity spell… Count me in!

Speaking of math, here’s a great number for you: 99. The kindle version of SPELL CHECK will be on sale for 99 cents October 8 – 14, 2018. SPELL CHECK is also available on Kindle Unlimited. The paperback can be yours for $9.99.

What better way to celebrate the season of the witch?

Happy Halloween, Samhain, Hallows, and Day of the Dead.

Ariella Moon draws upon her experiences as a shaman and former teen to create magical Young Adult fiction. Her Two Realms Trilogy is a medieval fantasy adventure series. The Teen Wytche Saga is a series of sweet contemporary paranormal romances.

Ariella spent her childhood searching for a magical wardrobe that would transport her to Narnia. Extreme math anxiety and taller students that mistook her for a leaning post marred her youth. Despite these horrors, she graduated summa cum laude from the University of California at Davis. She lives a nearly normal life doting on her extraordinary daughter, two shamelessly spoiled dogs, and a media-shy dragon.
