The Reluctant Viking "Viking Series I, Book One"
(originally published October 1994 & reissued February 1999 & August 1999 in mass market paperback for LoveSpell, then reissued May 2011 for Avon Book)

Ruby Jordan, a modern businesswoman, needs a miracle to save her longtime marriage. But she didn't expect to travel back in time to medieval Britain as a cure for her broken life.

Thork Haraldsson is a tenth century Jomsviking warrior embittered by his harsh life. What he doesn't need is a pesky woman claiming to be his wife...one thousand years in the future.

Thork was a reluctant Viking.

Ruby was determined to melt his reluctant heart.

Was it a dream?

Or did Ruby's dream come true?

The Last Viking "Viking Series II, Book One"
(originally published April 1998 & reissued Decemger 1999 & May 2004 in mass market paperback for LoveSpell, then reissued August 2011 for Avon Book)

Geirolf is a 10th century Viking warrior with a taste for Oreos and “drekking.”

Meredith is a serious, modern scholar with a not-so-serious yen for studying a primitive Viking“specimen.”

Geirolf thinks Tim Allen and Martha Stewart are the perfect man and woman.

Meredith thinks Geirolf is a male-chauvinist-Viking-pig.

Hold onto your rudder, Geirolf. Meredith is about to rock your longboat.

Hold onto your Ph.D., Meredith. Geirolf is about to teach you something you never learned in college.

Hold onto your emotions, reader. The Last Viking is going to make you laugh out loud, and weep... and wish that time-travel really did exist.

Kiss of Pride "Deadly Angels, Book One"
(originally published May 2012 in mass market paperback)

SOME MEN ARE TOO BAD TO BE TRUE...

Is he really a Viking with a vampire’s bite? An angel with the body of a thunder god? A lone wolf with love on his mind? Alexandra Kelly, his prey, thinks Vikar Sigurdsson is either flat-out crazy or he’s trying to maneuver her into his bed—which is hardly where a professional reporter should conduct an interview, tempting as that prospect might be.

SOME MEN ARE TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE...

Until Vikar does something a teensy bit unexpected, and Alex begins to wonder whether her mystery man could really be everything he says he is: a Viking Vampire Angel on a thousand-year-long mission with his pack of sinful brothers—and a man who’s finally found the woman of his dreams. By then, Vikar is already wrapping his chiseled arms around Alex’s body…and sinking his wicked fangs right into her neck. If this is sin, why does it feel so good?

Sandra Hill's Bio

Humor has become a hallmark of Sandra Hill's books. She started out with Vikings, tried a medieval knight, moved into the Old South, then the California gold fields, on to modern-day Manhattan, Memphis, Maine and Galveston. But the one element that has remained consistent in all her books is the laugh-out-loud humor.

Sandra's first book came out in October 1994, and since then she has published fifteen novels and had novellas in four anthologies, all through Dorchester Publishing.

Married for almost thirty years (to the same man!!!), Sandra is the mother of four sons. Living with five males (not to mention a male German Shepherd the size of a small horse) is enough to make any woman develop a sense of humor, Sandra often says. Either that, or go mad.

The most gratifying thing to Sandra has been the amazing reader response to her books. Almost 5,000 readers have taken the time to write to her over the past five years (some of them repeatedly) to tell her how much her books have touched their lives. This is the one thing Sandra never expected when she first started writing...the need for laughter in a world that is becoming increasingly stressful and sometimes downright dreary. She is only too happy to help and promises her fans that her well of humor is not about to run dry for a long, long time.
