For The First Time
by Mary J. Williams

A secluded cabin. A sexy loner. And a woman in need of a little excitement.
The perfect combination? Or a recipe for disaster?

If fate hadn’t intervened, Jordyn Kraig and Murphy Baldwin never would have met. When her car went off the road, she sought shelter and found more than she could have dreamed of. After only a few days, Jordyn and Murphy formed a bond neither of them expected or could deny. Unfortunately, Murphy had secrets too deep and shameful to share. And Jordyn’s life was far away in the city.

They said goodbye. But couldn’t forget.

Two years earlier, Murphy Baldwin’s perfect life exploded into a million pieces. And he had no one to blame but himself. Now, he has a second chance. A chance at redemption. However, if Murphy takes the offer, he could lose something even more precious than the last remnants of his tattered reputation. He could lose the only woman he’s ever loved.

In a perfect world, Murphy and Jordyn would find a way to be together. But they’d discovered long ago nothing worth having is easy. Besides, who needs perfection when the person you love makes every day feel like the first time?

Mary J. Williams' Bio

It Has Always Been My Dream To Write A Book

And I always knew it would be a romance novel. When I was a teenager I assumed my book would have a historical setting, those were the kinds of stories I liked best, I even grew my hair long so I could be like the heroines in my favorite stories. But now I see myself and my books in the present dealing with the joys and sorrows of our modern world. Harper Falls is a place my imagination dreamed up, but it is based in reality. I grew up in Washington State and went to school in a small town on the Columbia River. Harper Falls is that town but an idealized version. I hope you enjoy reading about the town and the characters.

And as much as I enjoyed telling their stories, these books are not the end of my dream but the beginning.
