Almost Like Being In Love
by Mary J. Williams

Two ex-army badasses.
A major case of unrequited desire.
One week to scratch the itch.
Merry Christmas, indeed.

Jedidiah Tillman, aka Tilly to his friends and anyone who wants to keep his teeth, can’t get Kai Northam out of his head. Five years, three face-to-face meetings and a frustrating amount of long-distance flirting later, she’s ruined him for every other woman.

Kai doesn’t believe in happily ever after. However, she wants the very drool-worthy Tilly more than any man she’s ever known. To satisfy them both, she proposes one week, alone, away from the real world. No rules, no distractions.

Tilly is about to have the best Christmas ever. However, when his seven days with Kai are over, will he be able to convince her what they have is more than a holiday fling?

What happens when two warriors wage the most dangerous battle of all? An all-out fight for their hearts?

Almost Like Being in Love is a standalone Rock & Roll Forever novel.

Rock & Roll Forever is a spinoff of the Hart of Rock & Roll series

Mary J. Williams' Bio

It Has Always Been My Dream To Write A Book

And I always knew it would be a romance novel. When I was a teenager I assumed my book would have a historical setting, those were the kinds of stories I liked best, I even grew my hair long so I could be like the heroines in my favorite stories. But now I see myself and my books in the present dealing with the joys and sorrows of our modern world. Harper Falls is a place my imagination dreamed up, but it is based in reality. I grew up in Washington State and went to school in a small town on the Columbia River. Harper Falls is that town but an idealized version. I hope you enjoy reading about the town and the characters.

And as much as I enjoyed telling their stories, these books are not the end of my dream but the beginning.
