by Irish Winters

Kruze Sinclair… Former Navy SEAL. Middle son. Loser…
Kruze is broken, forever wallowing between the death he can never forget and his famous mother’s advice to: ‘Live passionately.’ But at the end of each mission, after too much Macallan single malt and a butt load of sloppy tears, Juliana is still gone, and Kruze is left hollow and hurting. Can people actually die of a broken heart? Hell, yeah. He’s been dying for years.

Brianna Banks… Single mother. Audacious journalist. Survivor…
Why of all the special operators in the entire world did it have to be Kruze Sinclair rescuing her from a band of cruel rebels in the Eastern Anatolia Region of Turkey? Why him? Why not someone kinder? Someone gentler? He doesn’t even recognize her. Why would he? A lot has happened since he ran out on Bree three years ago. She’s not the same, foolish woman. And yet…
He deserves to know, doesn’t he?

Irish Winters' Bio

I always wanted to be a writer. I've dabbled in poetry, short stories, and more daydreaming than most. I remember long Sunday afternoon drives with my parents where they would tell us eight kids to: 'Look out the window and see something!' I've been looking out the window ever since.... In the great pines of the Pacific Northwest, I saw a woman with nowhere to run find refuge in the arms of a tender warrior who'd forgotten the man he once was... In the hills of Wyoming, I saw a man broken by the high cost of war, rediscover himself in the eyes of a pretty girl... And in the Dairy State, (yes Wisconsin), I saw two people overcome horrific obstacles on their way to happily-ever-after. Life is short. Pick up a good book. Read. Write. Enjoy. Look out the window and See something!
