A Lady of Distinction
by Deborah Simmons

An Uncommon Obsession

Although an accomplished scholar of ancient Egypt, Lady Juliet Cavendish has accepted her womanly fate. Since she will never be allowed to venture to such an exotic locale, she must make do with studying her father's acquisitions. But when the most recent shipment arrives in the care of the notorious Morgan Beauchamp, Juliet finds herself studying the undeniably attractive adventurer as much as his latest discoveries.

A Passionate Adventure

Soon, working together to catalog the artifacts becomes its own misadventure. Piece by piece, Morgan begins claiming bits of Juliet's heart. And piece by piece, objects begin to disappear from the collection. Amid rumors and whispers of an age-old curse, Juliet and Morgan fall victim to a passion as dangerous as the mystery they have unwittingly unearthed...
