Cleopatra Sharp is a strictly honest businesswoman, but she’s been the subject of a fraud investigation in the past. Getting back on her feet was no easy job, but making a success of her aromatherapy business taught her a valuable lesson about second chances. Giving the benefit of the doubt to people in her former situation, however, could prove her undoing when her business suffers one catastrophe after another and the previous monster raises its head, and she is again under the light of suspicion.
For help, Cleopatra turns to Taylor Bradford, a man who believes the root of all evil comes from her, yet he can’t deny the protective feelings he has for the woman she presents. Is she real or is this another scam? Taylor has no choice but to go with his instincts and find the truth.
