Blair Bancroft, with ancestors from England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, and France, feels right at home in nineteenth century Britain. But it was only after a variety of other careers that she turned to writing about the Regency era. Blair has been a music teacher, professional singer, non-fiction editor, costume designer, and real estate agent, while still managing to travel extensively. The mother of three grown children, Blair now lives in Florida.
