As I mentioned last month, my second Barkery & Biscuits Mystery, TO CATCH A TREAT, was released on May 8. I did lots to let people know about it, including a blog tour, book store panels and visits, conferences such as Malice Domestic and Left Coast Crime, online information–including several Writerspace opportunities like chats and newsletters and blogs, which I love–and more.
No new books of mine are out this month, though. I finished the manuscript for the third Barkery book and sent it in on time at the beginning of June. And I’m delighted to say there will be at least two more in the series.
I’m now working on my next Harlequin Nocturne paranormal romance, one of my Alpha Force miniseries about a covert military unit of shapeshifters–always fun!
Meantime, my next release will be part of another Harlequin series, Romantic Suspense. COVERT ALLIANCE will be my second HRS about a fictional arm of the U.S. Marshals Office that’s their non-witness protection program: where people know of terrible crimes that have been committed but didn’t see them or have any other way that they could become credible witnesses in court, even though their lives are threatened.
And yes, I’ll have a third book published this year. My third Superstition Mystery UNLUCKY CHARMS will be out in October, in time for Halloween. By the way, the number three is lucky. Third book of mine this year. Third Superstition Mystery. I’m hoping for some good luck to come my way as a result!
Hope you’re all having a great 2016. Hard to believe that this year is half over!
