And BOOM there went April…

What was I thinking last month that I would get more writing time? I think that I celebrated too early… definitely.

I have had some amazing reviews this month, and I’m in awe of people who take the time to review my books. Thank you to anyone who tells others about them, including the by-mouth selling. At the moment, a friend is on a lengthy cruise, and she has been giving me updates on reactions to the books she took with her and is recommending to others they read. It’s so lovely to see this type of recommendation. People often read what someone else recommends over a strange new author.

What am I working on now:

My new book… still in the second draft. This family saga is becoming bigger than I had planned.

CYA Conference (that I coordinate here in Australia) is creeping up on me fast. I can’t help but feel I need a few more hours in each day at the moment.

August/ September USA visit, planning continues. Conferences and flights are booked and paid. Still, a few hotels to organise and an internal flight between Nashville and Orlando to decide on – or a four-day road trip. What would you suggest for a visitor to travel between Tennessee and Florida? Anything you recommend, or is a simple flight better?

I was born in Zimbabwe, and have lived in South Africa and England, but now call Australia home. I'm married and have two sons.

When not running around after the men in my life, I get to enjoy my hobbies, which include boating, reading, sewing, travel, gardening, and lunch with my author friends, (not necessarily in that order!)

I'm passionate about different cultures and wildlife, the wilder places in the world and literacy.

Productive Cruises

Our first stop was in St. Peter Port, the capital of Guernsey Island, the largest of the Channels islands, located west of Normandy, France. In the south, Guernsey rises in a plateau with ragged coastal cliffs. It descends in… Read More
