Site Hosting Options:
If you wish to house your site at Writerspace, there are two basic options from which to choose. You may choose either to have us set up a separate domain for your website (http://www.yourname.com) or to place your site as a subdirectory of Writerspace (http://www.writerspace.com/authors/yourname). Please see our rates page for a list of features and prices.
When you host your site with Writerspace, you can choose to design and maintain the site yourself or use Writerspace's award-winning web design service. You may also choose to use a third party for design and maintenance. Please feel free to browse our portfolio and see some of our web designs in action.
To see if the domain you want to register is available, type in the name you would like to look for. Be sure to choose the extension (.com or .net) from the dropdown list. If no match is found, your domain name is available and can be reserved for you.

Bulletin boards, chat rooms, and small websites are set up as directories of Writerspace unless you request otherwise, so there are no separate domain registration and only nominal site hosting fees.
