Volleyball and SEALs

Band of Bachelors Alexby Sharon Hamilton

This story for Band of Bachelors: Alex, came out of years of experience, sitting on volleyball benches and having my ears ring from the team cheers and whistle-blowing going on for sometimes two day tournaments both my daughters participated in. It was interesting to meet some of the AVP players on the circuit, and some Olympic Gold Medalists too at some of these events. As I was writing this book, I heard all those whistles and shouts in my head when I lay down to sleep at night. It took years for it to go away, and now it’s back!

My heroine, Sydney Robinson, is a beach player, which is different than the regular volleyball games you see on TV played in gyms all over the world. I won’t lie – I used her because the suits were skimpier, and the beach scene seemed to work best with my San Diego-based SEALs of SEAL Team 3. My hero, Alex, is an elite athlete as well, as most SEALs are. And she’s about 4” taller too!

Enjoy the trailer. This fun new story, Book 2 in the Band of Bachelor series, launches 6-14-16.

Sharon Hamilton

Sharon Hamilton is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author most known for her SEAL Brotherhood series.

Her Golden Vampires of Tuscany are not like any vamps you've read before, since they don’t have to go to ground and can walk around in the full light of the sun.

Sharon’s Guardian Angels struggle with the human charges they are sent to save, often escaping their vanilla world of Heaven for the brief human one. You won’t find any of these beings in any Sunday school class.

All of Sharon’s books are available on eBooks (most formats), print and Audible.

A lifelong organic gardener, Sharon lives with her husband in the Wine Country of Northern California, where most of her stories take place. When she’s not writing, she’s getting verra verra dirty in the mud or wandering Farmer’s Markets looking for new Heirloom varieties of vegetables and flowers.

Crazy little thing called…Christmas

more-than-friends_500x750

by Jody Holford Christmas is one of my favorite times of year. Other than birthdays. I love the planning, buying, decorating, and definitely the eating. I like the long lazy day of getting up early, opening presents, having breakfast, and then just hanging out with the people I love. I always feel a bit sad… Read More
