TTPVIIJuly 11 - 13, 2003
Okay, so that's a little misleading. I'm not going to put all the details about TTPVII up here, because they're all available in glorious detail at the ADWOFF messageboard under the topic TTP Events & ADWOFF Gatherings .In brief, the anniversary signing at Turn The Page, the bookstore owned by Nora and her husband Bruce, has turned into a 3-day event with a book signing, brunch, a raffle, and most of all, a lot of fun with other Noraholics. It's a great time, and I wish you all could be there. The raffle, however, is the one part of the event that you can participate in even if you can't get to Boonsboro in July.
The RaffleCourtesy of Phyllis, Baroness of Baskets HERE ARE THE RULES FOR BUYING RAFFLE TICKETS: The purpose of the raffle is to raise money for The Nora Roberts Foundation, a charitable foundation that gives donations to such worthy causes as the Literacy Fund and a scholarship Nora has set up for local students who major in a writing related major in college. Donations for raffle tickets are tax deductible. Tickets are $5 each and checks should be made out to THE NORA ROBERTS FOUNDATION and received by me NO LATER THAN JULY 7TH. Checks will not be cashed until after the drawing. To obtain the mailing address, email me at TTPRaffle@aol.com . Even if you are coming to TTP, I would prefer that you buy your tickets in advance for tracking purposes and for the book I do for Nora listing all the participants. NO tickets will be sold the day of the drawing. You may buy as many tickets as you wish. You do not need to be present at the drawing during the brunch July 13 to win. If you can't be at the drawing it is your responsibility to let me know by July 7th which baskets you would like to win, in order of preference. You may only win one basket, so we can share the joy and excitement of winning among as many people as possible. If you win and aren't there, your basket will be shipped to you, but you are responsible for shipping costs which may run as much as $25 depending on the distance and weight of the goodies. If you have any questions, email me at TTPRaffle@aol.com. Good luck and I hope you win. Phyllis
