So what happened at TTP on Saturday. Well ... here's my version.

Alarm went off at 6:30 am ... crawled to the shower and turned it on super hot. Woke up ... got dressed and went to wake up Autumn (dd age 20). She was her normal cheerful self ... NOT ... I told her she could stay home, but she said she didn't have anything else to do ... Wow ... Are we gonna have fun today ... or what ???

Grabbed my TTP bag with the books I was taking for the Queen to sign ... Some books for Donna Kauffman to sign and out the door.

Left York at 7 am and got to Boonsboro at 8:30 a.m. I didn't want to look like too much of a nerd ... so we sat in the car until I saw Sangeeta heading to the porch.

So Miss Sangeeta and I sit down on the bench on the porch and start to chat. Two other women showed up ... didn't know them and they didn't seem interested in knowing us ... so we continued to chat amongst ourselves ... Then comes Miss Boonsboro herself ... Jeanie !!! HUGS !!!

Jeanie had been there about 1/2 hour earlier but didn't want to stay until others showed up. So it's us and we just chatting and by 9 am there were about 20 people hanging on the porch waiting for Norma to show up and pass out numbers. Heck we even greeted the postwoman when she delivered the mail. BW came in as Norma was passing out tickets ... Saw me and said ... Oh No ... Already ??? Can you tell he loves us ???

Well ... I ran to the back of the store to snatch up the Unabridged audio versions of Birthright, Portrait in Death, Seduction in Death and the Abridged version of Loyalty In Death. Grabbed 2 HCs of BIRTHRIGHT ... one for Me and one for Laura (my friend and hairdresser) for her birthday gift and a copy of PORTRIAT IN DEATH for Kristen (who does my nails) for her birthday ... along with a PB of THREE FATES (for my collection), a muffin for Autumn cuz she was complaining of being hungry and making her wake up so early --- whine whine whine --- and another TTP bag cuz they are just so great for hauling stuff ... canvas (buff) with forest or hunter green trim. They're big and hold lots of books. Total came to $221. That's when BW smiled and said he was glad to see me. Yeah ... after I spend a small fortune .

After paying for all the goodies I was gonna have signed ... We decided to go to Crawfords for breakfast ... Me, Autumn, Laurie, Carla, Sangeeta, Jeanie, Cindy (a new girl we picked up on the way) and Kelly. Tracey and Jen surprised Autumn ... they came up behind her and grabbed her. I'm still deaf in the right ear from her scream.

Phyllis and Elaine were there as well and I got some things from Phyllis for my Chesapeake Basket.

After breakfast we went to Asaros for Tracey and Jen to get a pizza ... then it was time go to get in line for the first 25 tickets. Sangeeta was #1, I was #2 and Autumn was #3 ... Jeanie was #5 ... so we got in line and had our books signed.

What is it when I get up to Nora ... I'm in full flop-sweat ... I had hoped to get a pic of Autumn and me with Nora ... but with the sweat running down my face ... I trashed that idea.

Others that were there but I didn't get to spend much time with were Carol P from Danville ... she couldn't stay for the signing -- had to go to a birthday party for her nephew so I got her BIRTHRIGHT signed by Nora and she was on her way.

Donna Kauffman showed up and she was such a dear ... she signed the books I brought for her to sign right there in the street. Her basket is gonna be packed with her books, her paperbacks as well as ARCs and HC's I ordered from Rhaposdy Club.

As Annie and her DD Deb were heading out of town ... we all went to say HI to DH Bob. I had met Bob last year when I picked Annie up for our trip to OHIO. He's such a sweetie and was worried about Annie driving by herself so he came along and sat in the car while she hung out at the book signing. Annie and DD Deb headed out and then we headed to Barnwood Books.

Before we went to Barnwood Books we were at the Creamery and hung out with Donna K ... then headed to Barnwood Books. Short stop there ... Can you believe I didn't buy ONE book there ??? LOL -- no one else did either .

Met up with the gang at TEXAS ROAD HOUSE for dinner. Laurie and Carla were hanging at the bar so we joined them and just a few minutes later our table was ready. Well we had a blast at dinner. The good looking hunky guy who sang Happy Birthday to Phyllis in October sang to Elaine this time. Her birthday is in April and she won't be at the book signing since she'll be getting ready to go to Ireland.

Dawn, Tami and Missi from ADWOFF joind our table for dinner .. they sat with Elaine and Phyllis ... Our table was right beside them ... Carla - Laurie - Edith - Arlene - Sangeeta - Autumn - Me - Kelly - Jeanne.

Our waitress Tammy was great and we told her she and the hunky guy have to come visit us during TTP in July at the Sheraton. She wrote it down and said she'd try to remember. I guess we'll have to go there on Friday 4-25 after the book signing and remind her .

During dinner we called Wendy and passed her around the table saying HI ... We tried to call Connie ... but she was out and we really confused her MIL. LOL ...

After dinner ... we all gave hugs to each other and we headed our separate ways. Another wonderful day spent with such truly wonderful friends.

Now ... only 4 weeks till the next book signing !!! I can't wait.
