How do I send a card?
Each of the listed categories is a link to a page of cards. First select the category, then choose from the cards listed. Click the round radio button underneath the card you want to send, then click "Next." Fill out the form, being sure to carefully type in your email address and then email address of the recipient. Click the "Preview" button to see your card as it will be sent. If you aren't happy with it, click your browser's "Back" button to make changes. Then click "Preview" again. Once you're satisfied with your card, click "Send." That's all there is to it!
Why are the cards so tiny?
The cards listed on each category page are thumbnail images. Once you select a card and move to the next page, you will see the card full size.
How do I see a postcard someone sent me?
The postcard announcement you received contained a URL, or web address. Either click on that address in your email reader, or if your reader doesn't make emails "clickable," copy the URL from the email into the address block of your browser.
Can I send a card to more than one person at a time?
Yes. Just separate individual addresses by a comma.
Can I send a card to a mailing list?
Yes. As long as you are subscribed to the list and the email address you list for "sender" is the same as your list subscription address, you can send postcards to a mailing list.
Can I include clickable URLs or email addresses in my postcard message?
Yes. Just type in your email address or any web address (URL) and when the card is processed the address will be "clickable."
I'm using the right URL, but the postcard isn't there.
Re-check the email you received. If you're using the same URL as listed in the email, then your postcard may have expired. If it has been less than 10 days since you received the notice and you still cannot access your card, send a note to postcards@writerspace.com, being sure to include the URL you are trying to reach.
There's a bookcover I'd like to send, but it's not listed.
