Linda Warren! After selling her first book to Harlequin Superromance, Linda Warren's life hasn't been the same. It's fun, exciting and she never has enough time, but she enjoys every minute. In college her life took an unexpected turn when she was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and had to drop out of school because of the pain. Nothing in life had prepared her for this, but luckily she had a wonderful man waiting for her (her high school sweetheart and own personal hero). With his love and support she learned to deal with a crippling disease at an early age. A talented painter and avid reader, Linda eventually decided to try her hand at writing. After a lot of hard work, tears, perseverance . . . and more patience than she ever thought she possessed, Linda's finally doing something she loves. And those happy endings? She writes them now and hope they touch someone who needs a lift, a smile, or just a good feeling day. No matter what, Linda believes, there is a happy ending - you just have to find it. Read more about Linda's heart-warming novels at http://www.lindawarren.net

Candace Irvin! As a teenager, Candace was certain everyone had a couple extra people running around inside their heads. It was only when her father warned her about people who heard voices -- and where they eventually ended up -- that she realized this wasn't the case. Candace never had the heart to confess to her father that not only did those people talk to her, they led full-scale lives. Although her military days are now firmly behind her, Candace continues to draw on those experiences -- and her overactive imagination -- to pen tales of danger and intrigue on the high seas and off. Her April release, THE IMPOSSIBLE ALLIANCE, is a fascinating blend of romance and adventure. Read the prologue on her web site at http://www.candaceirvin.com
Rebecca Winters! Rebecca Winters hated writing. Fortunately for her readers, when she was thirty, and had become a mother for the second time, her mother sent her all the letters she had written to her over the years and asked her to write her memoirs from them for posterity. By the time Rebecca was finished, the seeds of a story had begun to form -- that seed eventually became a novel and was published under her real name, Rebecca Burton. Another novel followed, then she sold her first Harlequin Romance -- and the rest is history. You can read about Rebecca's latest Harlequin, BRIDE FIT FOR A PRINCE -- and her other 68 books -- on her website at http://www.rebeccawinters-author.com
Marcia King-Gamble! I've been called a dancing fool and the truth of the matter is I love to dance. Recently took up ballroom dancing but I'm the worst ballroom dancer there is. Primarily because I don't follow instructions and like to freestyle. The same goes for life. “The dancing fool” is Caribbean American and a self-proclaimed globetrotter. I've had a colorful career in the travel industry and can tell you that every horrendous story you've heard about corporate life is most likely true. I have degrees in psychology and theater, a menagerie of animals and live in Florida. One of my favorite things to do on weekends is to attend estate sales in search of “collectibles.” A visit to my home will verify that. http://www.lovemarcia.com/

This courtesan's story also garnered a five-star review, finaled for the prestigious Booksellers' Best Award and hit two smaller bestseller lists. Desiree's special interest in healing arts and metaphysical phenomenon is a passion she brings to her readers in LORD OF MISTS (Dec. 2002). Her own roots in Welsh history made this story especially meaningful, the hero a joy to get to know--wait til you see what he can do with his gift. Desiree lives in Colorado with her own hero and their two teenage children. Visit Desiree at http://www.desireelindsey.com

Determined to fulfill her lifelong dream, Beverly completed her first two books and sold them both in record time. Beverly loves to hear from readers and you can visit her at http://www.beverlybrandt.com
Jean Brashear! Writing a book without the foggiest idea how was not the first time now-award-winning, best-selling author Jean Brashear ever did something crazy, but it's been the most fun--except for marrying the bad boy who scandalized her father. Celebrate Romance fetes the kinship of romance readers and authors who have met and developed relationships through the Internet, providing them the opportunity to meet in 'real time' and enjoy three days face-to-face with friends from cyberspace. The conference also provides an unparalleled forum not only to share a mutual enjoyment of the genre, but also provides readers a venue for sharing with authors what makes reading a romance a pleasure -- and what doesn't.
And what conference celebrating online friendships would be complete without a live interactive chat during the convention? Writerspace.com will host an interactive real-time/online chat during a tea on Saturday, May 5th between 3:30p.m. and 5:00p.m. The live chat will take place simultaneously at the Celebrate Romance conference in "real time" and online at www.writerspace.com in a special chatroom. Web cams will feed live video shots of the party room as tea attendees chat via laptop to readers logged in from all over the world.
In addition to New York Times bestselling authors Diana Palmer and Mary Jo Putney, other guest participants will include bestselling authors, Patricia Potter and Ann Lawrence; author of sensual spicy historical novels, Nicole Jordan; Patricia Rice, contemporary and historical author; Kathy Carmichael, romantic comedy author; and Julie Elizabeth Leto, Harlequin's new Blaze line launch author. Women's Fiction online, hosting websites for 100 bestselling romance
authors. In a time when the outlook for many 'dot com' companies has
been grim, Writerspace has nearly tripled in size during the past
year. The site is home to more than 5,500 unique visitors a day and
