Love, Friendships and Oh My, My!

Bonjour!

I enjoy traveling so much that with all that I do, it is never enough for me. For Angela, Nicki and Sissy, their trip to London and Paris was an eye-opener in more ways than one.

In THE FAT GIRLS CLUB PARIS BOUND, the bonds of friendship are tested as the characters learn to live with one another for several days. This becomes a personal experience as they’re exposed to something as simple as sleeping habits, little quirks and seeing each other, not at their best. They also learn the true meaning of friendship when a health issue is exposed and their own stamina is challenged.

Love is another issue that the girls must face in many facets of the word; through the eyes of family relationships, secret desires and of oneself.

“Friends show their love in times of trouble, not in happiness.” – Euripides

Finally, the shock, the audacity and the “Oh no she didn’t!” is weaved throughout the story. There’s a hurt that comes with the realization that the person you thought you knew, you really didn’t at all. We, at some point in our lives, have shown a selfish side of ourselves that we thought was contained under lock and key only to have it crawl out and rear its ugly head.

So, pack your bags and put on your favorite walking shoes as Sissy, Angela and Nicki take you on a whirlwind tour of London and Paris in this, the latest adventure of THE FAT GIRLS CLUB series.

Au revoir!

Lila Johnson

Bonjour! Lila Johnson here! Although I was born and raised in Kansas City, Kansas, I consider the road, rails and waterways my real home. The thrill and adventure of travel, stateside and abroad is a natural for me.

The need to create stories started in my early childhood. After one of my first works were printed in a local newspaper, I was hooked. Since early 2000, my work has been viewed in numerous magazine and newspaper articles. My letters to the editor have appeared in O, The Oprah Magazine and Writers Digest. A collection of ACME and Retro 51 rollerball pens are always at the ready when an idea for a new story taps me on the shoulder and demands my attention.

I love books and keep one or two with me whenever I anticipate having to stand in long lines for anything. Photography is my second passion and I keep one or two cameras at the ready during my adventures.

I hope you enjoy, The Fat Girls Club, the first in a 4 book series. I look forward to creating and sharing more stories with my readers in the future. You can follow my adventures as I travel America at writerontheroadway.com or find me on Twitter.
