I’m Just a Twit for Twitter

Apps Sphere VectorI’ve become quite the social media maven: I sent my first-ever tweet tonight.

Since I have 0 followers and follow 0 tweeters I have my doubts about the impact my historic foray into the Twitterverse Is likely to have.

Luckily, I’m good with that.

See, I had no desire for my missive to enlighten, persuade or entertain. I was just trying to make a buck.

Jimmy Kimmel said Esurance was going to give $1.5 million to someone who tweeted #Esurancesave30 by 1:30 a.m. today (Tuesday).

This triggered me remembering that I had set up a Twitter account (can’t remember why) back in . . . wait for it . . . October, which I had yet to use.

Since my checkbook all but echoes every time I open it lately, I figured it couldn’t hurt to lose my Twitter virginity.  Figured I wouldn’t be the first to do so for money.

Nor will I be the last.

In fact, the most likely thing to make me send my second tweet would be the possibility that I might receive some type of remuneration as a result.

Yes, I can be bought, or at least my tweets can.

If you want to beef up the number of tweeters you follow, feel free to follow me, I’m Jaycie Cash @CashJaycie. Oh so imaginative, no?

One thing I can promise, you won’t be inundated with tweets as a result. But the sound of crickets chirping, due to my extended absence, might get old.

HOW ABOUT YOU, ARE YOU SOMEONE WHO IS ACTIVE ON SOCIAL MEDIA OR DO YOU STEER CLEAR OF CYBERSPACE?  IF YOU ARE ACTIVE, WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE ARENA? IF YOU’RE NOT, PLEASE PIPE IN AS WELL. A FREE COPY OF MY DEBUT NOVEL, MRS. GOODFELLER WILL BE RANDOMLY AWARDED TO ONE PERSON WHO LEAVES A COMMENT BELOW BEFORE THE NEXT WRITERSPACE BLOG IS POSTED.

I have a twitter account too but never use it. I shouldn’t say that, it is linked to my wordpress account to anytime I post a new blog entry, my twitter gets one more tweet from me. I am most active socially on Facebook and wordpress (if you can call a blog social media). I would love a chance to win your book Mrs. Goodfeller.

  2. I also have a twitter account but don’t use it as much as facebook. I am not a real social on either account, but do read them and sometimes reply to them. I love to read so that takes up a lot of my time.8 years ago, I have read over 1900 books! I hope I am a winner of your book, Mrs. Goodfeller, but if not lucky, will read it anyway.
