It’s October. The stores have been filled for a while with lots of Halloween costumes and accessories and goodies, leading up to October 31.
Lots of chocolate. Yum!
For a few years I celebrated Halloween even more because my Superstition Mysteries were October releases. But that series ended, so my celebration this year relates only to the fun holiday of ghosts and goblins and other amazing and untrue creatures. Do I miss my Superstition Mysteries? Sure. Of course it might be unlucky for me to claim otherwise.
But back to October. It doesn’t hurt that the 2-in-1 version of my most recent Harlequin Nocturne about a covert military unit of shapeshifters was published this month. It’s PROTECTOR WOLF, which by itself was a June release. This month’s version appears in print also with DESERT WOLF, by Linda Thomas-Sundstrom.
Oh, and by the way. Today is my puppy Cari’s first birthday. That’s an even better reason to celebrate!
So Happy October everyone. Enjoy your month–including Halloween!
