georgia bockoven - My first book with Harper, A MARRIAGE OF CONVENIENCE, was made into a CBS movie with Jane Seymour and James Brolin. There's an article about it on my website.

georgia bockoven - I can't pick a favorite book. I've tried, but it's like trying to pick a favorite kid.

georgia bockoven - Hmmmm . . . I made them all so different that I like each of them for different reason. I cried over the and with the little boy, I laughed with the teenagers and felt indignation with the lawyer and environmentalist.
Cissy - Sara, read the excerpt section with the little boy ... *sigh* I bet that one's going to be a tear jerker
Sara - oh, good! and I will!
Sara - I mean, I will read. And Probably cry too
georgia bockoven - I tried to balance the stories between "tear jerker" and funny. That's the fun part about doing this kind of book. There's room for all kinds of stories.

georgia bockoven - The one thing everyone talks about in THE BEACH HOUSE is how hard they cried over the old couple's story. And yet it is a love story through and through.
