Rebecca de Winter - Wow, Mac. You've got a great twist in that story. I'll have to read it.
Mary f - No Rose that's her first one
Rosedust202 - I wish I could describe my story in a neat paragraph like you do mac
Mac - Well, it'll need some work before I try it again...It's too short until I work on it, Sil and Harl both turned it down, though Harl. said it was good. No, the shapeshifter is His Wildest Desires..want the blurb for it, too?
Rebecca de Winter - 8 years is a long time....
Rosedust202 - Okay...is this a suspence?

Rosedust202 - Yep Mac
midnight_haven - hello
Mac - ~*~His Wildest Desires~*~ Cunning as the wolf and as alluring as any angel, Raquel is the lady of the forest. Kail is sent in to study the local wolf pack for possible repopulation or relocation, or so he had thought. Now it's a race against time to figure out what is truly going on and just who or what Raquel is. Are these two meant to be together? Or will he be the catalyst that brings her world crashing down around her?
Delyn - Mac, of course... I hope that you're typing already.

Delyn - Sounds good Mac.
Rosedust202 - How do you feel?
Delyn - Rebecca... that's a "loaded" question... are you a rancher?
Rosedust202 - I think they should just let them die a natural death and leave them alone. I feel so sorry for them ...Kinda like the Indians you know.
Rosedust202 - No where to go and no one wants you
Mary f - How do you feel?
Rebecca de Winter - No, Delyn. My problem is, I don't know what I think. I love animals and want them protected, but I need to research the wolf population more to understand it.
O - Hello
Mary f - Hello O
hebehills - Hi O
Rosedust202 - They lead a horrid life most of the time. Hello O!!!!!

Rosedust202 - I still think some species have been forced out of their normal life so much that they don't want to be captive on a few acres. They always look sad as He** to me

Rebecca de Winter - Yup, I was.... and I had no clue I would be a writer one day. I always wanted to be a nurse, but I was horrible at math.
Cissy - poor Sara - you've had so much trouble this week
Cissy - oops, that was supposed to be a frownie
moosehog - Midnight . You said it was your birthday at the SuperAuthors chat contest the other night and that was why you wanted to win ...so which night is it ?(sara are the transcripts posted cause I can go check )
Rebecca de Winter - Thanks for being honest, Delyn.

Cissy - So shall we get started everyone?
moosehog - Becky
midnight_haven - my mom should have got to live a long time..but...careless ppl caused her life to be shortened
O - EWWWW nurses have to be around sick people
midnight_haven - <~~ cant see without my glasses
Rebecca de Winter - I ended up teaching school. Talk about sick kids!
moosehog - Oliveria . they also have to clean up poop and things that are worse than that .
O - EWWWWWWWW
Mac - I can see farther without mine than Geek can...I can at least read a book without mine on, he can't see past the end of his nose without his..
Rebecca de Winter - I'm sorry, midnight.
moosehog - Mac , any news about the book yet ???
midnight_haven - today is my birthday ..i just wanted to let everyone know it was coming up
Cissy - Welcome everyone to our chat with Rebecca Winters. We're chatting with Rebecca tonight about her latest book, THE TYCOON'S PROPOSITION. We'll be operating on protocol, so if you have questions for Rebecca, just type ? and I'll call on you in turn.
midnight_haven - thank you rebecca
O -
Mac - No, I didn't get any typed yesterday, and they are waiting for an official submission, which I'm not done until THE END is typed.
Cissy - Rebecca, before we go on to Q&A, will you tell us a bit about THE TYCOON'S PROPOSITION?
Mac - oops..that's doing not done.
midnight_haven - hopefully they get the book at the library bc if not i won be able to read it
moosehog - 2 Cissy / Sara
Cissy - is that 2 questions, moose?
midnight_haven - I never buy books..cant afford them.plus only read them once
moosehog - Yep .....22222222
Rebecca de Winter - I'd love to. This is a story about a divorced woman who gets a huge surprise when she finds out her ex is dying and he wants her at his bedside. Because she's a decent woman, she goes to him, but he's in Ecuador instead of south dakota, and when she gets there, she discovers someone in thehospital bed..... and it isn't her ex!
O - oh no
midnight_haven - sounding good
Cissy - well, this could be a good thing!
Rebecca de Winter - OH yes... and he's the billionaire who runs the company her ex worked for until his accidental death.
moosehog - I can't imagine not buying books to read . Both because i like to keep them and second to support my authors and ensure they get a good royalty check ...
Cissy - but the hero can't be dying!
Cissy - same here, moose - plus I just collect books like crazy
O - that is what i was going to say Cissy
Cissy - oh, so her ex is actually dead?
Mary f - Does she notice the difference right away?
midnight_haven - well some people cant afford them.
Rebecca de Winter - There's just one problem. Her ex got involved with a local woman who doesn't know he's dead, and she's pregnant, and the heroine feels sorry for her because her ex didn't take care of her either....
Delyn - Here, Here... Moosehog <Delyn nods in agreement>
midnight_haven - if i had a million dollars i would buy all kinds lol
Cissy - oh dear... complications!
Rebecca de Winter - IN the meantime, she gives the billionaire a leg massage and that's when she finds out he's not her ex because the billionaire has these great long lean legs.
Mary f - Moose I agree!
Mac - I can't afford books, either, Midnight, but I buy them anyhow.
Cissy - ooh... great legs are good!
midnight_haven - im ending that discussion thanks
Rebecca de Winter - The billionaire falls in love with the heroine because at first she thinks he's her ex (you see he looks like a mummy because he's all bandaged)
O - Was she really looking at his legs
hebehills - It is a great book, Becky
Cissy - O has the first question (moosehog, moosehog in line)
moosehog - Becky , Out of all the books that you have written which book did you find was the hardest to write and why ? And on the flip side which book was the easiet to write and why ?
Rebecca de Winter - and she's so nice to him and reads to him and tells him stories and helps him pass the time while he's lying there unable to talk or write because his hands got burned trying to save her ex from ddrowning after an accident.
moosehog - Cissy . Mine went without me .....sorry
O - What made you go from being a nurse to a writer?
Rebecca de Winter - Thanks, Diane. I appreciate that.
moosehog - welcome Becky
Mary f - WB Midnight
O - Welcome back Midnight
Mac - for Midnight.
Rebecca de Winter - The hardest book? Wow...I've written 70. Let me see.... Probably ACCIDENTALLY YOURS. I had to do a lot of reserach into the Russian Mafia and the FBI and the CIA,. That was a challenge. The easiest book was probably MEANT FOR EACH OTHER. It kind of mirrored my life.
Celeste -
midnight_haven - thanks keeps kicking me out
midnight_haven - i need one thanks
Cissy - O's question is next up
O - ACCIDENTALLY YOURS was so good
O - What made you go from being a nurse to a writer?
O -
Rebecca de Winter - I'm kind of crazy about that book myself. I fell in love with the hero. My tortured Russian immigrant who was really a New Yorker. He killed me.
Rebecca de Winter - I was so bad at math I couldn't pass the test to become a nurse. Then I want to Switzerland and learned to speak Frencn so I ended up being a French teacher.
Cissy - always a good sign when you fall in love with your own heroes, Rebecca
Rebecca de Winter - Thanks for the compliment, O.
Cissy - moosehog has the next question (Celeste, O in line)
Rebecca de Winter - Actually I fall in love with all of them, but this hero just got to me.... wow would I love to him in real life.
O - a nurse a french teacher and writer
moosehog - Well I for one am glad that the medical World lost Becky Burton because I love reading Rebecca Winters Books
Rebecca de Winter - Moosehog, you've made my day!
moosehog - Becky .... Is there any book that you have been dying to write but have been unable to up to this point and if so do you think it might get published soon?
O - Hey that was my question
Rebecca de Winter - I've always wanted to write about love between an older woman and man, but so far it doesn't fly for my editors.
Cissy - you can think of another one, O - I have faith in you!
midnight_haven - thought i would say goodnight and everyone have a safe and merry christmas..
moosehog - O ... How can it be your question if I asked it first ??
midnight_haven - this thing keeps kicking me off ...take care..
O - Why not
Mac - hehehe
Rebecca de Winter - Goodnight, Midnight. Thanks for coming.
O - abye Midnight
Mary f - Night Midnight
hebehills - bye Midnight
midnight_haven - your welcome.. =) keep the books coming --im a readaholic
Rebecca de Winter - Thank heaven!
Mary f - LMAO Moose
Cissy - Celeste has the next question (O in line)
Celeste - Becky, since you are such a prolific writer, do you have a daily schedule for writing and do you write one book at a time or can you work on more than one at a time?
O - moose
moosehog - For Oliveria
Rebecca de Winter - I usually work on one book at a time. When I'm on a roll, I don't want the distraction of another book. Yes, I usually wake up around five in the morning and start writing until my soaps come on at one. So I usually get in 8 hours of writing.a day except sunday.
O - Wow 5in the morning are you insane
Cissy - O has the next question (moosehog in line)
Celeste - I must say I admire you dicipline
Rebecca de Winter - Well, that all depends. I usuallly go to bed by ten o'clock so I'm awake at five. It's the best time...that's when the creaetive juices flow and no one disturbs me.
O - So what is the rest of your story how did you go from Switerland to USA
Mary f - That's great, nice routine
hebehills - hi C
Mac - TAMI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! es
tami - Hello everyone!
Celeste - Hi tami
Mary f - Hello C
Rebecca de Winter - I went to boarding school in swizerland with my best friend for my last year of high school. Then I returned to the states to attend the University of Utah. I received my teaching degree in French and taught high school and college french for a year... then I went back to Paris France to do graduate work... then I got married and taught school. and had 4 children... midway through teaching I started writing books and.here I am.
Cissy - Hi C and tami Welcome to our chat with Rebecca Winters. We're chatting with Rebecca tonight about her latest book, THE TYCOON'S PROPOSITION. We'll be operating on protocol, so if you have questions for Rebecca, just type ? and I'll call on you in turn.
C - Hi
hebehills - Hi Tami
Mary f - Hello Tami
tami - m and m
tami - okay, thanks Cissy
O - Wow you are a world traveler
O -
Cissy - moosehog has the next question (O in line)
moosehog - Becky , Out of all the leading men that you have written ....Which leading man do you think is most like your own personal favorite fantasy man and why ? And if you could be stranded with him anywhere for some of the best loving anywhere ....Where would you like to be stranded ?????????
Rebecca de Winter - the world wasn't a scary place back in the late fifties and sixties. After world war 2, things weren't as expensive and I could go anywhere and not worry. I went to Africa and Scandinavia by myself, and traveled on 6 ocean liners and was in a hurricane and met Errol flynn, my film idol. I had a ball.
Cissy - wow, Rebecca - the stories you must have! Good thing you're a writer!
moosehog - I love old Errol Flynn Movies ...Especially Pirate ones .
O - OMG you are old
C - at O
Rebecca de Winter - Without question, Dominic Giraud in my book THE BILLIONAIRE AND THE BABY. I'd love to be stranded with him in the South of France in some gorgeous field of flowers with the hot midi sun shining down on our little alfredo lunch in the grass.
Cissy - O!!! - don't make me break out the wet noodle
Cissy - now there's a pleasant fantasy, Becky!
Rebecca de Winter - I'm so old, O, you wouldn't believe it!
moosehog - Sounds heavenly Becky .
moosehog - O. You are in sooo much trouble .
C - Rebecca, isn't old, just well seasoned
Mac - tsk, tsk, tsk
O -
Rebecca de Winter - I could tell you stories for hours and days about my adventures. lThey usually work their way into my books.
Cissy - O has the next question (no one in line)
Mary f - Gee I always thought you're as young as you feel.
O - How old are you I am 49
Rebecca de Winter - He's a Frenchman to die for, Cissy
moosehog - C...or shes been well marinated .....BG
Delyn - I'm younger than O... not by much, though. LOL
Rebecca de Winter - I'm 62 going on 63. but I'[ll always feel 17.
Cissy - Becky, you do NOT have to answer the age question!
O -
Cissy - ?
Cissy - O has the next question (Cissy in line)
O - she already did
Rebecca de Winter - I don't mind. The older you get, the better marinated you are. It's the truth.
Celeste - actually, I think Becky told us earlier how old she was
O - Do you like to reaad when you get a chace? Where do you live
C - Moose, you're probably right, spending that much time over seas with all that great .
Rebecca de Winter - I love reading more htan anything. Just finished the BEACH HOUSE. and loved it. I live in Salt Lake City, Utah. home of the Winter Olympics.
O -
O - Is that Jude Devorux book i read that one if it is
Cissy - Cissy has the next question (O in line)
Cissy - Becky, what's your favorite scene from THE TYCOON'S PROPOSITION?
Rebecca de Winter - No....but I don't recall the author's name which is terrible because it was really good.
Cissy - Beach House might have been Georgia Bockoven
moosehog - Psst*** Cissy **** Any scene that involves a hot , moist , wet kiss has got to be the favorite ...
Mary f - LMAO Moose!
Cissy - well, yeah, mooose - for US.
Rebecca de Winter - My favorite scene is at the end of the book when she dresses up like an Egypticn Princess and pretends that her new husband is the guard who broke the rules to keep his princess alive. Since he looked like a mummy when she first met him, she gets the mummy video for him to look at and she creates this wonderful night by pretending their back in Egypt. It's very romantic and fun when she tells him she's pregant.
O - Of course Moose
Rebecca de Winter - Woops,. I meant, they are back in Egypt.
O - AWWWWWW how cute that sounds
Mac - Sounds great, Rebecca.
moosehog -
Cissy - oh how cute!
C - ah, sitting on the French beach watching the sun rise out of the sea. The gulls splitting the early morning stillness with their loud cries. A loaf of warm bread and a glass of wine. The tangy salt air floating on the breeze. I would love to go back there
Rebecca de Winter - pregnant. I'm trying to type too fast. Sorry folks.
Mary f - Sounds wonderful Rebecca!
moosehog - And tongue ...don't forget the tongue in that hot wet kiss
Rebecca de Winter - YOu said it, C. that's my idea of heaven!
Mac - We are fluent in typos in here, Rebecca...no worries.
Cissy - O has the next question (no one in ilne)
Cissy - wow, C - I'm there!
moosehog - Psst***Cissy ??? You want I should get back in line ???***
O - So since you live in Utah you are a mormon
moosehog - I can if need be .
O -
Mary f - IT sounded so good I had to say it twice~
moosehog - O !
Cissy - always, moose!
Rebecca de Winter - Yes, I'm a Mormon.
Cissy - that's a pretty big assumption, O!
O - What Moose
moosehog - Oh , Never mind O . I thought you wrote MORON . Like as in idiot ..Sorry .
Cissy - moosehog has the next question (O in line)
O - Oh come on everybody who live in Utah is that and everybody who live in Mass and Rhode Island is cathaloic
Rebecca de Winter - I'm a moron most of the time, too.
Mac - **points at Moose and laughs**
moosehog - Becky , If you weren't writing and weren't a nurse ...what other job would you have ???
O - Did i sorry i can't spell'
Cissy - Becky some of my best friends just moved outside of Logan
Rebecca de Winter - Actually only 60 percent of the state is mormon, but it was founded by the Mormons so naturally everyone assumes we're all teh same.
Cissy - (they're Mormon too, but not morons )
moosehog - Oliveria ... I live in Massachusetts and your wrong !
tami - LOL, there are a few of us Catholics in Ca, too O!
Cissy - their move to Utah was just a coincidence, though. It's where he was offered a teaching position
Rebecca de Winter - I'd probably be an archaeologist and do translation of some kind in one of the semitic languages. I've studied Arabic and would like to learn more.
Rebecca de Winter - They're lucky, Cissy. It's so beautiful there.
Rebecca de Winter - I hope he likes his job, Cissy.
Cissy - yep, they're loving it so far
Cissy - he's adjusting
Rebecca de Winter - Lol, Cissy...
moosehog - Of course I was baptised a catholic by my mom's family but grew up going to the Seventh Day Adventist Church with my father's family .4 days a week ..URGH !!! So I claim no religion and believe in a mixture of things from the two ..(The best of both worlds so to speak)
Meesha - Calgon, take me away!
Cissy - Hi Meesha Welcome to our chat with Rebecca Winters. We're chatting with Rebecca tonight about her latest book, THE TYCOON'S PROPOSITION. We'll be operating on protocol, so if you have questions for Rebecca, just type ? and I'll call on you in turn.
