Carly Phillips - Simply Sexy is a book with recurring characters from a few of my older stories, Body Heat, a Blaze - Rina is Jake from Body Heat's sister, and we revisit Emma Montgomery from the other Simply books and some other characters. And in this story

Carly Phillips - I read a book by an author I shouldn't name, and the woman ended up with the wrong man and I said to myself, I'll never read that author again. Years later, I discovered the romance genre.

Caffey - I sometimes cry in the middle of these books but as long as they have a good ending thats what i like
Carly Phillips - Well, O I love romantic suspense, however my mind doesn't tend to work that way, so my suspense is thrown in to help advance the plot or provide some humor or backstory. But I would say, if I could wrap my mind around it, Romantic Suspense. More romance than suspsense. But it hasn't been me yet.
Carly Phillips - I agree, Caffey. A good tug on your heartsrings is always great.

Carly Phillips - Honestly, pure enjoyment factor for me. I love the lighter tone of the Temptations and if I'm going to do deeper, I can do it in the ST format now. BUT I have anthologies out with Harlequin, plus a ST called Simply Sultry (Frankie's book from Simply Sexy that's out now) ...
