Denise - the markets become outdated, something I've talked to the editors about more than once
Tori Carrington - Oh, it's been eons since I've read a Gillen Thacker book! Is this one good? Maybe I'll pick it up.

Tori Carrington - We have the same books but from about a decade ago. They don't hold up very well.

Tori Carrington - Actually, I think the restructuring will make a response from Temptation faster. Our ed Brenda Chin is now the Senior Editor of the line, Jennifer Green working right under her. So once all the celebrating is out of the way, things should run pretty smoothly.

Donna Hayes is the new prez (we chatted with her for about a 1/2 hour and had to keep reminding ourselves that she's the bigwig), and she's just trying to run things more efficiently. Well, I'm not sure "new" is really the word. She's been there for about a year now. But hey, anyone who decorates her office with stuffed animals is a-okay with me.

Tori Carrington - Ducly and Quinn's story was A STRANGER'S TOUCH, out last May. It wasn't flashed as part of the series, thou. We wrote it as a stand alone then our ed encouraged us to write Jena's and Marie's story. Marie's book is GOING TOO FAR due out in February.
